Frequently Asked Questions

 

Pool & Spa:

1.                  My pool isn’t heating:

a.      Check your manual to make sure you are using the controller properly.

b.      Go to the pool equipment; look at the heater’s main panel.  You should see a switch that has three settings for pool, spa or off.  That switch should be on either pool or spa.

c.      Go to the pool equipment; look at the heater’s main panel.  You should see two turn knobs.  These knobs should be turned all the way to the hottest setting. 

 

2.                  I keep hearing water sounds from the valve near the pool:

a.      Your pool is equipped with an auto fill device; have your pool maintenance person check the auto filler to ensure no debris is caught under the device.  The device will run continuously if debris is caught under it.

 

3.                  The pressure on my filter is constantly high:

a.      Your filter requires standard maintenance; this includes an occasional acid washing.  As your filter cleans the water, calcium and other chemicals and debris build up inside the filter.  Please consult your pool maintenance person.
